Christie Shrefler is an avid traveler and loves exploring new places and cultures. Her favorite part of the job is talking to students, so her door is always open. She studied abroad as a student with Semester at Sea and had a life changing experience. She has enjoyed every minute of her time working in International Education since. She has served as the Director of Explorations/Study Abroad and Exchanges at Baldwin Wallace since 2005, and has worked in the department since 2000. She has also Directed the International Student Services Office since 2011. Prior to joining BW, Christie worked for the Institute for Shipboard Education in Enrollment Management. Christie has traveled extensively, including to many of BW’s partner locations. She holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University and a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a active member of NAFSA and is a member of NAFSA’s Trainer Corps.
